The Nagahashi Camp Project is the foundation of the Mirai Kaitaku Club. Since the club’s inception, students have been involved in organizing events, DIY activities, and camping. Currently, we hold monthly camping events at Nagahashi Village in Otaru! Event details are shared via the official LINE account, so please check for updates. We look forward to your participation!

02. International Exchange PJ HMcC
We design and implement new forms of international exchange through fun events such as traditional cooking sessions, language camps, and parties. If you want to learn more about foreign cultures or make friends with international students, join us!

03. Share House PJ
We operate a student-run share house to embody mutual support. Currently, seven male and six female students live together, hosting parties and events to strengthen bonds daily!

04. Freshman Welcome PJ
University freshman welcomes have a unique culture. Organizers interact with many people, face setbacks, and make mistakes—valuable experiences for building relationships. Based on our club’s know-how from being Hokkaido’s largest student organization, we put this into practice. Above all, having juniors who look up to you gives energy to live. Let’s enjoy welcoming new members together!

05. Food PJ (Including Agriculture PJ)
With the theme “Changing Japanese Food from Hokkaido,” this serves as a platform for students interested in food. We visit food industry sites and cook with what we grow ourselves. Experience things you can’t get in class, unique to Hokkaido. Students from various faculties join, not just agriculture or fisheries! Connections with other food and primary industry circles are also great.

06. Beer PJ
Miyaji, a beer-loving Hokkaido University graduate student, leads the production and sale of “Mirai Kaitaku Club Beer.” We are currently working toward formal incorporation 🍺.

07. Lady Uo
Mobile fresh fish shop Lady Uo:
・Village visits: Gather first-hand information at fisheries, identify issues, and think about solutions.
・Sales activities: Experiment with ways to show the value of freshly caught fish and the appeal of the fisheries while selling fish.

08. Hult Prize
The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student entrepreneurship idea competition hosted by the Hult Prize Foundation. Each year, themes related to the UN SDGs are set, and students worldwide compete. At Hokkaido University, participating teams learn step by step how to build businesses addressing modern social issues while contributing to sustainable development goals (SDGs) up to the campus finals (English presentation contest).

09. Sports PJ
We organize sports events to strengthen members’ friendships! You can play any sport you like! Running, shuttle runs, strength training—anything is welcome ✨

10. Eastern Hokkaido PJ
We go to Eastern Hokkaido, experience, learn, and create new things together with local key people. Many outsiders tend to lump Hokkaido together, but Eastern Hokkaido has different climate and culture. Let’s experience and energize this unique region together!

11. YOSAKOI PJ
This project aims to enjoy the YOSAKOI Soran Festival, created by Hokkaido students, to the fullest with minimal practice compared to regular teams. Through running the YOSAKOI Nishiki team, we interact with children, adults, and foreigners.

12. Temaneki PJ
We aim for IPO through on-site-focused application development and entrepreneurship that enrich people’s lives!

13. Prisoner’s Workshop PJ
The name sounds suspicious, but it’s a legitimate project. We meet irregularly on Saturdays for a 6-hour forced concentration co-working session. Focusing on the themes of “time management and task setting,” we relentlessly run Pomodoro timers!
EVENT

01. HOKKAIDO STUDENT FESTIVAL
Conceptualized as a place to “express your own energy” and “immerse in diverse university experiences,” this is Hokkaido’s largest face-to-face joint welcome event, a festival for university students across the region. Freshmen are invited, with numerous clubs and student organizations from across Hokkaido gathering to create new chemistry.

02. International Exchange Party
We aim to make our club known globally by building international connections.

03. Mirai Kaitaku FES
This is the annual “report meeting” and festival of the Mirai Kaitaku Club. All seminars, projects, and club executives gather, giving a one-day overview of university students’ activities. The concept is “University Students’ Expression is Dream and Reality.” Visitors can learn and enjoy hands-on experiences.

04. Report Meeting
Students who traveled abroad share their experiences in post-return report meetings. Experiences include backpacking, internships, studying abroad, and working holidays.

05. Networking Event
After seminars or events, meals are always organized. Participants can interact closely with professional instructors and friends they couldn’t talk to during seminars, deepening connections. This may be one of the true highlights of our club.

06. Birthday Party
We celebrate the birthdays of club members together 🎉 Let’s create unforgettable memories!
